VISUAL ARTIST
Spinning whorls of color, psychedelic characters, and a license for your imagination to truly run wild: these are all artistic cornerstones for Joe Taylor. Joe is an animator and illustrator, which means that as you move through his portfolio of work, his art moves as well. Many of his animations loop endlessly as infinite fractals or morphing figures. True to form, his design for this month’s volume of Vinyl Moon allows you to cycle through art that changes on the outside & inside of the jacket. Who knows, maybe this record will do the same to you.
Originally from the UK, Joe Taylor is now based in Berlin. He started in graphic design before his art and illustrations took center stage, and he has worked with clients such as Apple, Netflix, and TED. His recent work has embraced a multimedia approach, creating in the worlds of music videos, logos, education, sound design, and video games. He also creates music as J Yerolota - you can jam his house tunes on Bandcamp.
