Diane Thirault

London, England via France

As an illustrator and CGI artist & director, the worlds created by Diane Thirault are brimming with color and bursting with life. There’s a storybook quality to her art, but, like certain fairy tales, she isn’t afraid to tackle surprisingly mature themes with her stories. By merging visual influences from pointillism, classic video game pixel art, and mythology from around the world, Diane’s work has a familiar style that still feels unique to her. We can’t wait to explore the depths of the scenes she’s created for this month’s volume.

In addition to illustration and CGI, Diane has experience as a director for animated films, character design, motion design, 3D Generalist, and more. Her past clients include Facebook, Vice, Dr. Seuss, and several indie video game companies. She also plays and composes music, which you can hear on various animations on her site and Instagram.
