Written and recorded in the first 6 weeks of my daughter's life.
'Theo' is my attempt to preserve something tangible from the most precious and fleeting experience a human can have.
Captured through a single microphone at the foot of our bed, in the very moments my heart gained legions and the enormity of love and sanctity of life became, not just words, but a vivid, palpable and unavoidable reality.
These eleven tracks feature in the order they were recorded, spanning from within days of her birth to the final outpouring of 'For The Poems' some six weeks later.
This is, after my daughter, the finest thing I have ever produced. And every effort has been made to do justice to both her and the emotion, insights and melodies she inspired.
These are the first sounds she ever heard. Preserved from within the delirium of my heart grown a-thousand fold and offered to you, in the precise way they were captured, with no edits, no wizardry, nothing but the moment in its exact expression upon the wings of the most seismic inspiration my life has ever known.

Luke De-Sciscio first appeared in the Vinyl Moon universe on Vol. 047: Natural Things with the lead-off track "I'm A Dream Fighting Out Of A Man," with another appearance on our massive commemorative Vol. 100: Century.
