This open-hearted collection of indie rock spans the spectrum between Tame Impala-style grandeur and the intimacy of early Bon Iver. Opus Vitae is the one-man project of Banah Winn, who shows the breadth of his talents between lush synthesized soundscapes, angular guitar, and inventive rhythms. Sometimes this do-it-all approach can backfire, but there's such a clear vision behind Banah's music that it quickly reaches that sublime state of being greater than all its parts.
