Sun Cell - Movements (In The Dark)
Movements (In The Dark) is the highly anticipated debut album from Singaporean artist-producer Daryl Hor, the former farmer now crafting music under the name Sun Cell. His synth-driven blend of new wave, post-punk and alternative music is defined by lush soundscapes, shimmering guitars and a deep sense of yearning.
Inspired in part by the story of his grandparents, Hor uses rich textural production and melodic sensitivity to present a two-part narrative of love, loss and the quiet transience of life. Movements (In The Dark) is a cohesive, atmospheric and deeply heartfelt journey that honors memory while pushing Sun Cell’s sound to new immersive heights.
