Ever since we featured "Laugh It Off" on Vol. 051: Four States, we've been enthralled with the whip smart indie rock of LA's own meija. Producer and songwriter Jamie Sierota crafts immaculate pop miniatures with sonics that range from pristine to charmingly homemade and even occasionally downright lofi. Always at the forefront of these careful arrangements are Sierota's intimate, conversational vocals, inviting the listener into meija's sonic world with an intoxicating mix of confessional vulnerability and rock and roll swagger.
