In a style self-described as "pop-cubism", illustrator & muralist Ettoja creates art that draws from the aforementioned avant-garde movement, as well as graffiti street art and classic video games. Ettoja uses closely stacked figures to build larger scenes or objects. You find yourself noticing stacked layers of meaning as your focus zooms in and out of their work, revealing new interactions between the lines and characters on micro and macro levels. We encourage you to do the same for this month's volume.
